Celah Gospel is more than a music group — we are a mission-driven movement. Founded with a shared vision to inspire, uplift, and create impact, our journey began with a passion for storytelling through music. We believe that music is a universal language that connects people across cultures, ages, and backgrounds, and we use this powerful tool to promote hope, faith, and positive change.
Our name, Celah, is derived from the word “Selah,” often found in the Psalms, which invites listeners to pause and reflect. Just like our name, we aim to create moments of reflection and inspiration through our music. Every song we write, every note we sing, is a story of faith, resilience, and hope.
Our mission is to use music to uplift and inspire, while our vision is to create a world where people are motivated to take action for a better future. We seek to bring light into the world through our songs, address social issues, and empower individuals to live with purpose.
We officially embarked on our music journey in 2022 with a passionate team of 15 members, all driven by a common goal: to create change through music.
From the very beginning, our mission was clear: to create uplifting, relatable, and transformative music that speaks to the hearts of people from all walks of life.
We released our debut album, "Tenda Wema," which marked a significant milestone in our journey. This album wasn’t just a collection of songs; it was a heartfelt expression of our faith and values, embodying themes of kindness, compassion, and unwavering trust in God.
Celah Gospel was honored to be featured at the Hope for Africa event — a gathering of music groups, speakers, changemakers, and faith leaders from across the globe. This event brought together individuals committed to promoting hope, unity, and positive transformation through various forms of artistic expression.
We were once again privileged to gain international recognition by being featured at the Adventist Annual Music Awards Concert (AMAC) — a prestigious platform that celebrates Adventist music talent and impact within the global faith community. Being part of this celebration was a humbling experience for us. It highlighted the importance of our mission and validated our commitment to creating music that uplifts, inspires, and strengthens faith.
